
The definition of resilience is the capacity to recover quickly from difficulties, or in other words, to be tough. Athletes are constantly bombarded with challenges as a result of their training, injuries, and competitions. The difference between quitting and trying again can sometimes boil down to having a bit of resilience to these adversities.
The Support 4 Sport programme works to give these amazing athletes the support to deal with their injuries but ultimately, how they cope comes down to their own mental strength.
